DESCRIPTION:  Tohickon Family Campground is less than one hour from the center of historic Philadelphia and Valley Forge Military Park.  Other nearby attractions include covered bridge tours, boat trips on the Delaware, Mercer Museum, Sesame Place, and the Crayola Factory, with hiking, biking and canoeing, and fishing.

AMENITIES:  Swimming pools, restaurant, camp store, recreation barn, game room, exercise room, library, restrooms and showers, laundry, propane, dump station, public phone, dirt interior roads, gravel sites...large and spacious, campfires and picnic tables, horseshoes, volleyball, playground, tenting, pets welcome.

DIRECTIONS: From the PA turnpike, Exit 44 (Quakertown) and go left on Rt 663. Crossover 309 to Rt 313 and go E on Rt 313 for 5 traffic lights outside of Quakertown. (for RVs lower than 12 feet high), then left on Thatcher Rd (N-East) 2.7 miles to Covered Bridge Rd, then E 1/4 mile. For RVs higher than 12 feet , pass Thatcher Rd to Rt 563, then left on Rt 563, left on Sterner Mill Rd and right on Richlandtown Rd, then E 1.4 miles to Covered Bridge Rd.
