DESCRIPTION:   We are over 200 secluded acres...very secluded...but only 10 minutes from Calabash, North Carolina, the seafood capital of the world.  Restaaurant row in Myrtle Beach is only a skip away, not to mention the beach itself.  Area attractions include golf courses, Alabama Theatre, Alligator Adventure, Brookgreen Gardens, Carolina Opry, Dixie Stampede, and a brand new amusement park, the Hardrock Cafe, Imax Theatre, amd the Nascar Speed Park. There are several shopping malls and outlet malls.

AMENITIES:  Log Cabin, Rustic Cabin and camper rental are available, two stocked ponds, a boat ramp for small boats to access the Waccamaw River "black waters of the Carolinas", and a driving range, Bring your golf cart, ATV, small boats or other toys. Grass sites, trails for walking and horses, pets welcome.  Sorry, no tenting.  Motor bikes are prohibited from the campgrounds.  RV and boat storage is available.

DIRECTIONS:  Carolina Backwoods is near Myrtle Beach, located 6 miles off Rt 9 on Rt 57 in Ash, NC, at the state line.  Or 6 miles off Rt 17 in Little River, on Mineola....also known as Ash Little River Road.
