DESCRIPTION:  Hungry Jack Lodge & Campground...where no other place has the amenities we offer...is located on Hungry Jack Lake 2 1/2 miles off Gunflint Trail, 32 miles northwest of Grand Marais. We are just two miles from the Canadian border...with access to the beautiful Boundary Water Canoe Area (BWCA) hiking trails and canoe portages. Grand Marais is 110 miles north of Duluth, and has a large variety of stores, specialty shops, art galleries and antique shops.  Nearby activities include guide service, deep sea fishing, airplane rides, horseback riding, canoe trips to Canada, a casino and golfing. Fishing equipment, bait, boats, canoes, kayaks,pontoon boat, snowmobiles, and more are all available for rental at Hungry Jack. All fishing and hunting licenses and maps for area lakes and the BWCA are available in our business office, bait shop and the Loggers Saloon. Fully modern cabins are available for rent....all on the lake with private decks.

AMENITIES:  Campers have the use of the swimming beach, sauna, playground and other lodge amenities including the bar, and meals in the Fireside Dining Room. Wireless internet, and restrooms and hot showers are in the lodge.  The campground has secluded, wooded, grass and sand sites with picnic tables and firerings, free firewood, central dump station, and tenting. Pets are welcome and a laundromat is nearby.

DIRECTIONS:  Go to Duluth, Minnesota, on Interstate Hwy 35 or, from Wisconsin, use Hwy US 53. As you enter Duluth, follow Hwy 35/North Shore Dr/Hwy 61. Follow MN Hwy 61 for 110 miles NE to Grand Marais, Minnesota.  Stay on the Gunflint Trail for approximately 28 miles to Hungry Jack Road (County Rd 65). You will see a sign for Hungry Jack Lodge & Campground at the corner of County Rd 65. Turn right onto Hungry Jack Road, and go approximately 2 miles (DO NOT turn off at 1/3 mile towards HJ Outfitters. Stay to the left at that point.) to the entrance of Hungry Jack Lodge & Campground on the right side of the road.

USAGE:  25% discount is for camping sites only.  All camping is to be prepaid with a credit card prior to arrival.  No refunds.
